A Life Of Purpose . . .
I truly believe the first 7 years of our life, shapes our future..

Growing up around generations of entrepreneurial home design builders and creative women in my family, from interior designers, to display artists, to seamstresses, to painters, to musicians, to my great aunt who owned a hat shop, I could say I came by my creative gifts, inherently.

My entrepreneurship began at the early age of 13, while living on our 130 ranch in 100 Mile House, B.C., One Saturday morning, I decided to hop on my horse, Gidget.
My pursuit that morning was to knock on other ranch doors to ask if my neighbours needed a babysitter. However, it turned into the responsibility of looking after ranches and all the animals that came with it.
This early life training, later led two part=time businesses, a cleaning business and a home and pet-sitting business, This kept me fed as an entrepreneur, while I pursued my creative appetite, to find my purpose and niche, in the big, wide world.

Bluffed My Way to Fame

Years of a variety of experimental jobs from retail management to window display for the Bay department store, to stock photography styling for magazines, to floral designs for the elite, to boat decorating at the Bay Shore, in Vancouver, B.C.. I even became a model and turned around and worked for the modelling agency, as a fashion director and teacher. After all this creativity., I still I was not satisfied.

It wasn't till my husband and I sold our house on the first showing, when the realtor asked if I did home staging for a living, A shock wave went through me. I bluffed and said, "Yes, but I ran out of my business cards" He asked me to meet him at his office in a week, with some business cards and he would refer me lots of work. The rest was history!

I had no idea what I was doing! I just put on my bold hat, and had faith in design ability and knew I could do it. Two years later I ended up side by in the news with Decora and Revamp, two large staging companies, and just me and my tiny crew, Three of us staging companies, were pioneers, at the time. I was so busy for several years, and even landed a front cover story in West Coast Homes., I enjoyed my newspaper fame, while it lasted, However, unexpectedly, adversity would came knocking at my door, Life would never be the same.
